Methodology
How we score and rank
Exactly how Beconsole collects data, computes scores and handles affiliate links. Weights, sources, and what is not measured yet.
Data first, opinions second
Every number on Beconsole comes from a published source: vendor pricing pages, product documentation and public price grids. Each datapoint is dated and each profile shows when it was last checked.
When a value isn’t published or we can’t verify it, the field is left empty and displayed as “Not verified”. We never invent prices, features, ratings or benchmark results.
What the score is
The score is a transparent, formula-based “data score” out of 10. It rewards lower prices, wider reach, richer features, better support and easier trials. Checkbox features (free plan, API, JavaScript rendering…) earn 8/10 each, because having a feature says nothing about its quality.
Missing values are never guessed. They are excluded from the average, and a completeness factor (0.7 + 0.3 × share of weight actually known) slightly lowers the score so that an incomplete entry cannot outrank an equally good, fully documented one. A score is only shown when at least two inputs are known.
What the score is not
It is not a performance benchmark. Success rates, response times and IP quality are not part of the score today. When we run our own tests, they will be published separately with the full protocol, and they will be shown next to the data score, not hidden inside it.
Pool sizes
Pool sizes are what vendors advertise. They are claims, not audited counts, and are used only for the “reach” component with a logarithmic scale so very large claims do not dominate.
Affiliate links and independence
Some “Visit site” links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Rankings are computed from the formula and cannot be bought. See the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Found something out of date? Pricing changes often. Every page lists its last-checked date, and corrections are applied as soon as they are verified.

Price score = 10 × (lowest price ÷ provider price)^0.6. Reach uses a log scale for pools and a linear scale for country counts.
